Team sent an email 10 mins ago. Glad he's here. Should give us another option outside. Hope he ends up being what we thought Veron would be.

Anyone know what number he is?

77

These quotes are from training yesterday.  Think that's really interesting because Marsch spoke on the player and there must have been some agreement with the writers that he'll answer questions, but they didn't want the information out yesterday.

The fact that the writers also did not talk about Damari makes me think he's a done deal too.  If that wasn't going through, I believe they would have come out and said that yesterday.  They had to ask about him, as clearly they also asked about Royer.  My guess is that we see that announced official, and then the writers also have some quotes from Marsch yesterday.

“The good thing is that when you have a good team already, it’s not a necessity to step in right away,” Marsch added. “A lot of that will be determined by Daniel’s desire to be here and show what he’s about, but we expect him to be a guy that can come in and help right away. Maybe there are times when he’ll come off the bench, but certainly he’ll have opportunities to start. He’s fit and he’ll be able to add in a big way.”

Asked an Austrian friend of a friend for a scouting report and it doesn't seem like he's a game changing attacking type. Seems more like a workhorse with decent enough skill

MLS in general is terrible at this but I'd like starters / kinda starters to get 1-23 with the kids getting 25+.

I just like the idea of the players picking.  Same as every other sport in this country with the exception of the NFL who has general guidelines of position and numbers available.

Guys like Sam  have been game changers (at their best) but no scouting report would have flagged them as that.  Its MLS.

Junior Flemmings and Franklin Castellanos are sad right now.

In all seriousness, however, Flemmings has to change his number like Metzger did when Veron came in.

Saw he can speak Spanish lol.... Now Jesse can maybe have a translator for Veron and maybe his play will improve by actually understanding what Jesse wants lol....
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.
