Gonzalo Veron never got a thank you tweet, Josh Sims will be ignored as if he never played for RBNY

What are the odds there is no announcement?

Does anyone really care? Lets be honest, Sims couldnt score goals anywhere he played. Here he could not beat out Valot.
The only sad thing about this is that it reinforces that we cant sign any legit talent.

"Josh has so many qualities that we like and look for, and he made a difference for us in the final third." - Armas

Saying he could not beat out Valot is an overstatement. We are talking about a 2 game sample size. That is not enough to make a concrete statement.

Very different skill sets too, I could have seen those two splitting a lot of time over the season depending on the opponent.

Im not basing on his NY sampling, Im basing that on his entire pro career. Look it up if you havent already.
He does not score goals. Good riddance.
Bring on the next underwhelming international.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Saying "he couldn't even beat out Valot" is not only very specific to his brief NY career, it's specific to the 2 games this season. I'm not shedding any tears over his departure, but that's not a reasonable statement. We have no idea what his role would have been if the season took place as normal.
I'm well aware of his career numbers. I'm not trying to say we've suffered some backbreaking loss.

Adding to this the year before he came here royer scored 2 goals in 36 apps. MLS is a weird league. Sometimes you dont really know especially with someone of Sims age.
