A 68-point season has happened 6 times in league history.

RBL 6 BL seasons: 67, 53, 66, 66, 65, 58.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Stop trying to map non salcap metrics onto a salcap league.

Unless you are stating that parity sucks, but then make this an regular season MLS issue and not a specifically Red Bull one.

By MLS standards, this is a good, not great season that will in all probability have the bitter aftertaste of another playoff flop.
By MLS standards, we have had very few out and out bad seasons, some mediocre seasons (including the last three) and quite a few good to excellent seasons

and as Metrofanatic pointed out, many very very not so good totally terrible playoffs.

As if a cap stopped ATL, LAFC or TFC from buying cups.

Unless you are stating that parity sucks

It doesn't make for greatness.

then make this an regular season MLS issue and not a specifically Red Bull one.

Why? I don't care if the rest of MLS is mediocre.
I want our club to be the best.

By MLS standards, this is a good season

Then MLS standards suck. 13Ws in 30Gs not good.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Been expecting this thread split for days.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
