Smurf's lose 1-0. Their record 230 day MLS scoring drought will continue!

Edit: dumb mistake

Only team in the league that still hasn't scored a goal.  SAD!

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Very physical game. Hearing the players curse in Spanish and Portuguese is great. One of the best games in tournament so far. Let's go Orlando.

538 has these clowns at 17% to advance to the round of 16, which is good for 2nd worst odds by a long shot (behind only Cinci).

Is that 1 goal in 5 games now, including CCL? 5 losses. Im sure plenty of decent teams have had 5 game losing streaks over the years, but at what point is it safe to say NYCFC just isnt good?

you would think they would have so much of a home field advantage in that CCL game.............

LOL

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

They got off to a similar start last season, as I believe they were winless through their first 6. That included more draws than losses, but they still were able to rebound and finish 1st in the East. All that being said, just because they were able to recover last year does not mean they'll be able to replicate it.

Regardless, it's fun to watch them flounder.

If Maxi Moralez is out for an extended period of time they are in trouble and recovering from this start will be that much tougher.

Maxi is top tier, but he's 33. Continued absence due to injury could be the norm.
