Jesse described what I'm going to do if the Knicks get Kyrie and/or the US wins the Gold Cup.

It never fails to amaze me how much a three game winning streak can change your fortunes in MLS.  It seems that theres been so many seasons where we've been hovering around .500 and then a winning streak just makes our season.

As good as this week has been, we played two depleted teams. Let's see how we stack up against full-strength contenders.

^This. Let's not start sucking each other's popsicles just yet. Minnesota is not good. Really not good. A better team would have finished one of the chances they had today. Then it's a whole new ballgame. Also, they gave us TONS of space up top.

Zizzo and Perrinelle just not getting it done and Keller was spot on saying we weren't decisive enough in the final third. We're more decisive than we've been all season but there is still huge room for improvement here.

Muyl and Adams looked excellent in that wingback position.

What's the rule about how many months it takes a European player to acclimate? How long has Royer been here? ;)

Most interesting part of Muyl's game yesterday imo was that I think if he is ever played as a traditional winger again he seems to be more comfortable playing as an inverted winger. His dribbling from that side in the last two games, trumps everything I've seen from him since turning pro from the right (coming from a guy who likes Muyl more than most).  Shorter runs/bursts like his goal today, are why I think he is more of a second forward than winger, but inverted winger is problem the next closest thing to that.  Good wingback perform though.

This formation will look at lot better once Murrilo and Kemar are integrated into it, which is the biggest positive from how we have look even though the opponents are meh at best.  When we are are full strength here, tactically Jesse has a ton options depending on how we want to play (possession, versus counter).

3 points is 3 points even against bottom dweller.
Good point on Myul. Goal is very good for his confidence especially after shanking that 6 yr shot.
Kemal and Murillo and Collin significantly strengthen this formation

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Second straight game where the opposing defense just didnt show up, and quit late, but again Muyl is beating defenders 1 v 1. Should help his confidence when he faces betters sides. And once again, shooting from distance stretches the D and opens everything up. Incredible it has taken so long for the team to realize what every fan has seen for years.

Royer is another one who now has some confiden e to back up the talent and effort. What a difference.

You see Muyl take on guys 1v1 and score a goal like that, and you feel bad almost that you compared him to Steele and Alexander. Players in MLS are inconsistent.

Obviously United and the 'Quakes aren't that good as Dan mentioned, but we're taking care of business in convincing fashion. That has to feel good, no?

Also finally some luck on the scoring! We haven't been creating as much as last year, but we've been underperforming our xGF by a huge margin. That CB depth though worries me like hell, so lets see if this Panamanian kid is any good.

Also boy oh boy did I want Veron to put that in. Good run. Touch into space. Just missed. Another good performance from him I thought. Very engaged and troubled both CBs.

they are, but I've been seeing a pretty consistent improvement from Muyl
