Has the team ever been booed on opening day? We're currently on track for it. At this rate I'll be booing before the ball is even kicked.

Sheer pessimism?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

There is/was individual talent on this team that really played well and gave it their all under Marsch.
I dont want to boo the players. Theyve already proven their worth.
Ownership/management on the other hand...theyve really fucked this all up and it started with the infuriating decision to pull Marsch in the middle of a championship season. Completely inexcusable. Ill have no problem booing them on opening day. A lot of good itll do though.

Honestly if your problem is ownership and not the players on the field, just don't go. Showing up and booing is just putting money in Red Bull's pocket and giving shit to the wrong guys.

Armas and Ham Sandwich still being here and the transfer window silence just has me very "prove me wrong kids!" pessimistic about the club's overall trajectory / aspirations.

Booing Sean Davis and Amro Tarek isn't going to solve shit. I think the only way this gets solved is if MLS pressures them. That's where to direct angst, I think.

what?
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

They almost certainly will be. Justified or not, Armas will be boo'd on opening day, and I think the FO genuinely doesn't expect it or care.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Red bull out chants? Red bull spend? Songs about this team deserving better? A song to Nas & Curtis Martin to assemble a dope local consortium to buy the team? I have faith in the clever crankiness of metrodom.
RED. BULL. OUT.

just stay home until ownership and the FO show they are serious about winning.
Lol they'd probably just buy more tarps.
