Whatever. Portland advance over Dallas.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

My daughter's Rec team could have advanced over Dallas. They looked terrible... (I only saw the 2nd half when they were up a man and could do nothing, were they better in the 1st half?)

I suppose this is what passes for a reasonable comment.

LOL

When I watched them being a man up they were impatient, their passes often din't put their teammates in a favorable position and they seemed disorganized.

No hate. Just disappointed in your comments.
So, letting the chocolate take over.

Hmmm, so thinking Dallas played poorly puts one in the doghouse LOL

So FCD played well?

No. Overstatement does.

Better than your daughters rec team.
Look at the stats. Watch the 1st half highlights.

I said I did not see the 1st half meaning my observation was based on when I turned it on which was just when Portland went down a man.

Stats dont overide the eye test. Completed passes to teamates that dont advance the ball in a dangerous way dont mean much to me. They show up on a stat sheet, but dont help you win the game. They may have been fabulous in the first half, but they lost their composure when they had the advantage but were down a goal.

Hyperbole? This is a fan chat forum, not a court of law. We have a whole multi year thread about DC and donkey balls that survives on playful hyperbole.

Lighten up.

Thanks for the clarification.  Instead of the Watson that plays soccer in MLS for Vancouver, without your post, people might have thought I meant:

https://en.wikipedia...wiki/Dr._Watson or

https://en.wikipedia...tson_(computer) or

https://en.wikipedia...ary_Jane_Watson

So, thank you.

My original post references Vancouver and Watson, seemed pretty clear. But sure, theres a chance people were thinking of those other soccer playing Watsons...

You must be a blast parties...
