There's a bunch of Colombians coming in Friday. New guys. They say they have two keys for us, for openers. Pure coke. Hotel in Miami Beach. I want you go over there. If it's what they say it is, you pay 'em and bring it back. You do that, you get 5 grand!

Folks have given up RBNY for Lent.
<_<

I was in 102 and I just shook my head at the fact that most of the upper bowl was empty.

Seriously, I think folks will turn out in droves, when they damn well feel like it.

The team is there as well as the great support from the supporters. However the main problem is Stover and Co. (i.e. Marketing). They all need to be fired!!! I was at the game tonight and couldnt belive this shit. Its freakiing saturday night and we couldnt bring in more than 13k!!! How pathetic is this. You have Vancouver drawing 20k+. TFC had about 18k. Who knows what LA will pull tonight. THis club has to get with the program!!! Start spending more on marketing and having some revelence in the NYC media market. We supporters are doing our job, how about Stover and Co. doing there's?

So, what everybody is saying is that a team with sixteen losing seasons with no significant hardware and no apparent marketing budget can't draw in the fans? Color me surprised.

Yup, not impressed.

Last year, early season games also struggled with the numbers (a midweek cbus? game was an ugly number). As the season went on, the crowd grew.

I'd be interested to compare numbers after a full season. Don't think it's beyond expectations to expect a full house come late season.

The numbers were pretty much what I thought they would be. Last year, there was a considerable decline in attendance after the home opener and then picked up once the weather got warmer. I'm sure the same will happen this year.

While the Front Office could definitely be doing a lot of things differently, in their defense, anyone who doesn't know about the team by now is living in a cave.
