I want to win USOC almost as much as wanting MLS Cup. Almost.

We need Sean Davis, I see this getting done. There are many reasons why he should stay, personally and professionally

Philosophically, we will never win MLS Cup unless we develop a leadership core. We dont give core players enough time together to gel and develop a winning mentality needed for knockout competitions, and we dont replace transferred players with equal or better talent. Captains of the team are traded before they have a chance to create a winning team.
This is an important time for RBNY, watching our crosstown rivals win a fuckin' cup has made me sick to my stomach. Im sure Im not the only one. Thelwell needs to sign Sean Davis, pick up a few pieces in the transfer market and consider making an MLS trade for a Right Back that can fit the system. Then, make the playoffs and try to win the lottery that is MLS Cup.
The Blue Poseurs were good in the Final, but 2 wins in penalties and beating a depleted Philly team on the path to winning MLS Cup proves that it's a crapshoot.
Let's Go Metro.
