They've had so many people here lately, that they plan on having two games going on.
Joxer Daly's afterwards.

It looks to me like its a recreational league for people who work in the evenings.Anybody know what the turf field pickup schedule/proceedure is over at MarVista? I've seen pennies on the fence midday - but not sure if that's rented practice or pickup.
thank ye,

I just took my daughter down to the playground at lunch, and went over there and asked them.
It's a pickup game - every Weekday at noon, and Saturday's at 4:00.
Some guy just brings the pennies.

They will definitely be playing today, but I may have some "Honey Does" this afternoon. Are you playing today?
Although they're supposed to start at 2:30, I'd show up at 3:00.

I only go on Saturdays. Scott (Andric) used to go on Thursdays, but I don't think he has been lately. So what's the current state of this? Many LARS there?
Nobody there would even know what "LARS" is, but it's a regular pickup game with a LOT of people - they usually have to split up into two groups.
But none of that matters, as I'm playing B&G this Saturday, and in the 562 cup the following week.

For any of you who live in the area, you should really give it a go some time.
They're a good group of guys, and the skill level is fairly high.

Thursday nights are at Cheviot Hills in the winter. What's the deal with Thursdays...they have lights?
They play in the middle of 4 softball fields with lights.
It's always pretty iffy - so I don't go.
