Know how to identify talent?    Anyone can identify talent you can't afford.  We have no idea if the talent they've identified and signed so far is any good.

Toney and Haksa were both affordable if the team wasn't so stingy.

I do agree with you. But just to play devils advocate: see Veron, Kaku, and Jorgenson.

WTF does that advocate?     "the guys before us fucked up, and got fired for it, so we aren't even gonna try?"

You can overpay for players - as evidenced by the last three big signings. Pretty clear to me.

I guess this is what "#Identity" meant when ppl were tweeting it a couple of months ago. Cuz it's fitting.

You can only overpay for bad players.

Kaku was a good player, but was overpaid for.

In an alternate reality where Marsch stays and Armas doesnt become our coach I dont believe this to be true at all.

He is a headache but talent wise I think it was a fair price.

RB Global looks for players to develop & sell:

RBNY does neither.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Jämför Haksabanovic med världsstjärnor: "Han måste säljas i sommar" (msn.com)

Still holding out hope - of the four teams noted - Brugge, Roma, Atalanta, Metro - I'd say he's only guaranteed to start here or for Brugge.

Sounds like they want him in the Red Bulls System

" I'm sure he's good enough for Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League but it's about finding a good environment.

- It must be a club that wants to give young players the chance to develop. "

Agreed, if that doesn't describe us, I don't know what does.

And I feel like any message coming from his national team manager is actually coming at the behest of the player/his agent...
