Yes, feel like that is pretty obvious.

Grella is a good passer of the ball though. If they moved Sacha back, they could get adequate production from Grella in that spot.

What does it matter he good of a passer he is, if he doesn't see the passes?

current forecast for Saturday: 30% chance of snow, high of 39.  I actually wouldn't mind a little snow - would be cool to catch a snow soccer game in person

get the chant going - orange ball Orange Ball ORANGE BALL!!!!!!!!!

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Based on my amateur meteorology background, it is not going to snow Saturday. Friday night, and the biggest event on Sunday are both possibilities, but tail-gate time through the final whistle looks to be just really cold.

Because he's the best we have for that spot if we're gonna move Sacha back? Definitely know Veron can't handle it.  He sucks

I don't think they move Sacha back until he's proven he's lost it.  At least not from the start, maybe a late game switch like we saw in ATL.

Starting Grella scares me.  If he plays well fro a few games, he's going to lockdown that spot.  And then the playoffs are going to roll around and the opposing teams will bunker and give him space (because they know he's too slow to beat them 1v1 if they play off him) and we'll be where we always are.

I'll keep calling for Grella to play the Clint Dempsey role next to BWP.

-----Grella-BWP-----

Royer-------------Muyl

-----Kljestan-Felipe----

Lawrence-Collin-Long-Murillo

I think it would be easier for Grella to find space at CF, rather than isolated on the wing.

Surprised how quickly a lot of you guys are ready to move on from Kljestan as a CAM. He's one of many guys who clearly haven't shaken off pre-season rust, he'll be fine.

I don't think anybody is calling for it, but we did look better when he dropped back.  And he should have the least amount of rust since he was at the USMNT camp.  I think he'll pull it together, but he's over 30 so he is good years are fading fast.

The problem is Marsch is dead set on playing this formation where there is no CAM

There are TWO CAMs in the 4-2-2-2 formation.

Except they also have to cover the wing at times. We either have no width, or no one in the middle. It really doesn't fit our players.

Sacha became MUCH more influential once he was moved centrally.

The 4-2-2-2 is young man's formation, that's for truth.
