Anyone know where I can find the video of the DC fan yelling "Fuck New York. 9 fucking 11"? I did a keyword search of the forum and all I could find was a google video link that no longer works on a LARS message board. If anyone has it or a working link to it, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Also, sorry if this gets moved to a sub forum.

I remember it but don't have the video. It was close to a brawl after the game getting back on the buses. Risky (albeit kickass) move by Red Bull. Get us wasted on an open bar with Red Bull Vodkas a few hours prior to the game against our arch rivals. We are lucky more craziness didn't go down.

What do you mean by close to a brawl?  As I remember it there was a brawl.

Out of 800 Metro fans, maybe, maybe 50 were around for a brawl. No wonder most don't remember.

And the kid that caught it on video was an RB intern who had been "not hired" or whatever by the team. Cut the video somewhat unflatteringly about a culture he didn't understand- made it look like a hooligan video.

Doug Brimson wrote a book & included a note about how football violence was "coming to America" based on the YouTube of that fight.

DC skinhead posers caused that fight- nothing more.

That's because Flipper and friends waited until all of the 800 fans had passed them before jumping a few people at the end of that line.  To most it didn't occur anything happened because they were already back on the buses.

I didn't see it happen, but a number of security guards rushed back over to the stadium after they escorted us back to the buses. Something about a "major disturbance" over at the gate where we left from. Nobody on the Metro side got badly hurt or (god forbid) arrested I hope?

Oh, fuck. Very sorry to hear that. Welp, I see that the legendary "post-match disagreements" continue. How is it that THEY get away with this kind of bullshit, and WE are the ones the get saddled with this odious reputation of needing the fucking national guard to keep us in check whenever we visit the district, or anyplace else for that matter.

It's not like we are a collection of wannabe "top boys", "hooligans" and mindless thugs. I mean... Really, what is this shit?

You can thank our crack FO for that part.  They'd rather blame and threaten its own supporters than defend them.

Cue ESC board rant in 5..4...3...
