The Ecuadorian national team will face off against Jamaica next month at Red Bull Arena. The cheapest seats are ~$61 (including fees)...no way I am trying to flip these seats.  If they do any groupon specials in a few weeks, I may pick some seats up then.

Hoping Taxi gets a call up for this one. Our next game isn't until 9 days later, plus he wouldn't have to travel for this game.

I find it odd that they just announced it.. they have less than a month to sell tickets, I figure they would want more time. Maybe it wont matter.

less than a month to sell tickets

Ecuador games at GS/MetLife have sold 40,000+ tickets. Should have no problem selling out 25,000 at RBA on a Friday night. Now, traffic ...

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Ecuador is on a bit of a decline after missing the WC.  They have a new coach, and will probably field a lot of younger/unproven players as they prepare for Copa America.  I doubt that the big names will be called in (Antonio Valencia, Enner Valencia).  That plus a non-marquee team in Jamaica plus expensive tickets = I doubt it will sell out. But hey I've been wrong before.

Probably be a solid crowd but I don't see a high demand on the secondary market for this game either.

i remember the US-Ecuador friendly back in 2011. I think all but 2 sections in RBA wore yellow.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

And the World Cup qualifying match vs the Ticos which we lost was a pro Costa Rica crowd (so I've heard).

Yea, Red Bull Arena isnt a good "home" venue for the USMNT. SMH.

i was at the US vs Ecuador friendly and I don't remember it selling out, which also makes me believe that Ecuador vs Jamaica won't sell out.

as expected, Ecuador's roster for Friday's game @ RBA is very underwhelming - lots of new faces, and no Toño Valencia.  Definitely out for this one - hoping there's a last minute Groupon for the USA vs Brasil instead

I'm at the point where I'm still annoyed with the USA debacle and I swore off wasting money on friendlies years ago so would have to be a ridiculous discount for me to even consider going. I'll be watching the game at home for free instead.

i want to see Tyler Adams flying into Neymar, cleanly winning the ball, and having Neymar roll around like a....baby.  I would pay to see that in person.

No need to have Adams to see that. All you need is a breeze of 5+ mph.

Last time I checked on-line, they were only selling in the lower deck and far side in the upper.
