So like Tom Barlow. You are making the same case for Fabio as people, including the team, were making Barlow last year and the year before. This is yet another sign of how fucked this team is.

Barlow has had enough time to show he can't fucking score. Fabio has had about as much time as Henry and Cahill did when everyone bitched about their lack of scoring.

Fabio has also hit balls this year Barlow could only dream of.

Lol people fucking hated Muyl. Remember the plugged ears celebration?

I know and I never figured why. Cheap domestic player that can be used off the bench to waste time or break down defense. I guess people hated that he started over some other people but he wasnt making the lineups.

Anyways back on topic I like Fabios work rate and effort. Optimistic it will come around and he will be goodI hope.

I like fabio. Has a nice shot, good iq and a good passer.

it looks increasingly likely that Fabio's many assists were the product more of luck than quality

C'mon now you don't get 6 assists by luck... The guys he was feeding those assists to, Clark and CCJ, missed a ton of games and returned in poor form.

Knock his finishing all you want but acting like he hasn't provided a ton of value elsewhere and that Tom Barlow could do the same is nonsense.

Same reason people are getting on Fabio's case now, it's frustrating to have an attacking player struggle in front of goal regardless if what else they bring to the table.

I still have and wear Muyl's jersey, so I like him, but it's understandable why he wasn't a crowd favorite. Fantastic hustle but not productive enough offensively. Of course he wasn't making the lineups, but a playoff/title-winning team needs to have better starters than Muyl. After starting for a ~season and contributing little to the stat sheet in terms of goals/asissts, he's now on the bench in Nashville.

My issue with Muyl was never with him, it was with the team for not getting a better starting right winger in 2018. Muyl was the weakest starter on that squad.

Struggling is a bit much to me. Hes had some good assists and some decent passes to people who cant seem to hit the side of a barn. Yeah Id like for him to get more goals but I feel hes not getting quality passes because our midfield has been poor but thats another topic and can of worms.

If this was another year, we would be complaining far more about Fabio's lack of goals. But given it took half the season for a forward to score last year, we take what we can get. Plus, I'm in the camp that he has been productive with setting things up and having some good shots on target.

Fabio is a great human.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Last night, Valot looked more threatening in his 5 minutes (all really in stoppage time) than FCC looked most of the night. Give and go's were amazing, like he's been with with team all year, and made some good defensive plays as well.

Small sample size, especially all stoppage time, but still feel that $50-100k was a steal for FCC.

If he stays healthy, but when was the last time that happened?

Last year, when he played more games than anyone on the team.

Not going to get upset about Valot because even if he played and played semi-well this season they probably still let him walk this winter

We do need to keep some of our domestic depth around though, dont have 20 international slots and with the green card process at a halt we probably dont have any guys close to getting one
