I don't blame the press. They knew we would bottle this like we always do.

Chris Armas really taking this no press approach too far.
Well played!
Star-Ledger has zero RB coverage. Their last soccer reporter was laid off or took a buyout >5 years ago.
MSG is covering RB games from its NYC studio, apparently using the other teams video feed.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I don't understand why people seem to think the press, which is struggling, would be sending a dedicated reporter to cover a game for the team with the smallest fanbase in the New York metropolitan area.
Exactly. "Oh yea lets go cover this team who only has a small number of fans, never sells out, is never mentioned in the sports media, has no star players, no championships, and always bottles the playoffs" ... I don't blame them.

I would be happy if the SL picked up and published the AP wire report. But, there is total avoidance of MLS.

Its all about money. So when we are ready to pour money into a vehicle or platform, we will get decent coverage. Until then this team is not going to be truly held accountable on a nightly basis.
I appreciate all the coverage RB puts into their own team, but there was not one tough question for Kaku, Tyler Adams or Royer or Parker or Lade. I would love to have them be grilled for 5 minutes after their terrible performances.
NYRB controls the narrative. We still don't have any idea what happened to Lawrence (i'll chalk that up to NYRB wanting to be secretive during playoff).
