Sacha could swap in for Davis. It's not that different of a formation. Just puts Veron & BWP up top and you have two CM/CDMs to help protect the backline.

It's not a completely crazy formation.  And you're right, it's basically not much different from what we have now but I think Sacha is too easy to shut down in that look.  I can't see how Veron or BWP get service.

I think the only reason Sacha has been acceptable in this formation we use now is because it's easy for him to get lost with the two guys next to him.

Sebastian Giovinco will not play in Saturday's clash vs. NY Red Bulls. Still some risk w quad strain that #TFCLive is not willing to take.

No Sean Davis or Muyl please...

Please have Royer and Long start...

Play Lawrence out wide on the left instead of Lade or Muyl and use Long on the left and Perri in the middle and Murrillo on the right of the last 3
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

Idk i think NY will be better this week.. Taxi is so misused as one of the back 3 but he's such a good defender it's hard not to put your best defender as a defender.
That said with Taxi as a wing back like how he was in the second half this is a way different team.

Taxi is so much better than Muyl or Lade or even Sean Davis going forward.

He needs to start out wide.. And Adams deserves to start on the opposite side.

Now hopefully Royer can start and play at least 50 mins. Cuz this team goes as Royer, Sacha and BWP go.
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

...this team goes as Royer, Sacha and BWP go.

So a guy that's been out a month with an injury. A guy that's never played big in a big game. And, a guy that has refused to take a shot first time recently (twice in the Open Cup, once against DC).

Doesn't inspire.

Seems like we are doomed. If and big IF we make the playoffs I don't see us going far. Literally crawling into the playoffs is not the same as Seattle last year and Portland the year before that respectably

We can always beat TFC - Montreal just did :P

Interested to see if he put Escobar back out there to see how he responds. DP I'm a fan is noticibly dropped during this year. Collin were art thou?

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

If? Give me even odds and I'll bet any amount of money we're making the playoffs.

We'll flame out, but we all know that part.

we're making the playoffs.

Wish I was as optimistic as you!

We'll flame out

Glad I'm not as pessimistic as you!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Here's what's gonna happen: We win this game even. Marsch calls out all the "non-believers" and proudly proclaims "WE'RE BACK!"

Then we lose to Vancouver next week.

i could live with this, but iirc, royer was scoring in the 5-1-3-1 cuz he was closer to goal and not left out on the wing.

Most likely timeline.

Also, I definitely thought this game was Sunday.  Day made.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.
