Best team in the AL, yet third worst attendance in the league this year, topping only Oakland and Miami. Even Toronto, who played in 3 different stadiums and dealt with much stricter, Canadian COVID restrictions, beat them out. The 4 worst teams in the league (Baltimore, Arizona, Texas, Pittsburgh) also all beat them out.

Splitting games between Montreal and Tampa Bay seems like a foolish idea on the surface, but I would like to see them relocated full time to a city that would get behind them.

"It's heartbreaking to love a team that's just not good enough, which is why Mets fans feel more gutted than usual this time of year. We don't expect rings, obviously. A fun ride that gives us some laughs and thrills and groans -- that'll do just fine. Chaos surrounded this team, but on the field and in the clubhouse, they were easy breezy, lemon squeezy.
"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic
"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke
"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen
"I want to give you lots of titles for your happiness. Lots of hugs.” - Fabio

The recent early retirement of future HOFer Buster Posey is sad news for all baseball fans. Some say that this incident may have been his finest moment:

The Mets have to learn to conserve their pitchers from overwork. Throwing at 95+ is too much strain on the arm, elbow, wrist, etc.

No progress at all.
Owners make BS offer for non-binding mediation,
Players refuse, want an actual offer on the table.
