Video of Marsch giving an hour long tactics lecture on Zoom to Bavarian Soccer Club in Wisconsin: https://www.youtube....h?v=c6BOWjn59j8

Not sure if this forum is the right place for it, but he uses a lot of RBNY examples and I'm sure there's a lot of relevance here to the global Red Bull philosophy. It's not often that you get to see a coach get so into the weeds on tactics.

There's also an early Sal Zizzo reference.

I was wondering how triggered NYRB fans would get hearing Zizzo being the second player to get a call-out after Adams lol

Awesome video and a rare insight into what coaches really do between picking the lineups.

But Jesse for the love of god pay for a little bit more bandwidth, made the video tough to watch

Did he just up and leave halfway through the last segment?

Anyone see this yet?  This is rather a big deal, no?

Edit--Never mind.  I saw that this was already posted in another thread.  Couldn't figure out how to delete this post.

It is a big deal. I guess it justifies his actions (taking time off to get Euro license, leaving us in the middle of the season) from his point of view.

Super happy for Marsch. I would love him to get out of red bull at some point, but definitely Leipzig is an awesome spot for him. The organization has to trust him - I guess first coach to make the full Red Bull circuit minus brazil.

Proves Marsch's rationale for leaving midway through our season to become an assistant was correct after all (which most reasonable people would agree with, although several at the time thought it was the stupidest idea ever).

Apparently there were some twists in this hiring saga, if Twitter is to be believed.

Interesting. Good for Jesse for pushing his weight around - but maybe he wont have quite the long leash I expected.
