Hero is Gutman and Bum is Higuain's whiny, geriatric ass

Neville is now whining about Higuain's offsides goal.

I don't remember the telecast showing the definitive angle to check for offsides, but on the angle they did show, Higuain was way offsides.  Not even close.  Surprising that Higuain, and now Neville are yapping about it.

As a coach, I always thought it was better to just admit that your team wasn't good enough and needs to be better, rather than blame the ref.

I watched the replays; it was close IMO, but off.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Most of the time, sure. With 5 consecutive losses (and 1-12 GD in those, and it being their second (!) worst losing streak this season), he might be a bad result or two away from the sack, so deflecting blame becomes a tempting strategy.

Referees union ‘outraged’ with Inter Miami coach Neville’s comments, complains to MLS

"After the loss at New York Neville slammed the MLS video review system, saying his team was “cheated” out of a goal when Gonzalo Higuain was called offside. The club provided photos to support his claim. It was the third game in row Miami lost 1-0, and all three involved controversial calls. In the previous game at Portland, Julian Carranza’s apparent game-tying goal was nullified for a foul. In the Atlanta game, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez was called for a questionable hand ball in the box, resulting in Atlanta’s game-winning penalty kick. After the New York loss, Neville called for a “massive investigation’’ into calls against his team, which is mired in a five-game losing skid heading into a road game at Columbus on Saturday."
