Probably, but I dont think Philly is dropping down near the line, so it's probably moot.

Each of these is a "6-pointer".
We only need to finish above 2 of the 4.
Their PPGs project 9 points from their final 6 games.
So, we would need 12 to put it into tiebreakers.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Pretty crazy when you look at it, the next 4 games are against the 3 teams directly above Metro in standings and 1 currently directly below. Feel like if you go 4-0 through those, you make the playoffs.

Sept oct mLS is usually fun with playoff battles home field adavsntage battles and support shield battles - I prefer to be on the side battling for the top but Ill take it over a wooden spoon or Miami flame out
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Lots of big games involving teams ... above us
Cbus win pulls them level with us on 37 points.
ATL & ORL Ws push each 3 further points ahead of us.
DC draw leaves them on 41 points.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

There are so many teams ahead of us playing each other it's hard to have any real movement in the cutoff line.
We need to get to about 48 points and hope for the best. Better frontload some wins because I do not like having to play at Nashville on the last game on the season.

NE and Orlando wins obviously help. Atlanta/NYCFC could go either way, but it seems less likely that RBNY can catch Atlanta, so I'd prefer 3 points to ATL. (Atlanta has matches against Miami, Toronto and FCC, so even a RBNY head to head victory might not be enough to overtake them).
At that point, a point on the road against Columbus next weekend would set up a really important Wednesday night match at DC. A loss to Columbus wouldn't be the end of the world, but would really put the pressure on to get 6 points from DC and Montreal.

We are tied with NYC on 40 pts & they are 74%?
I am guessing it is being driven by their SPI rating of NYCFC. Not sure what goes into that formula, but if you sort the table by SPI, they rate NYCFC as the best team in the league, by far.
Not a ringing endorsement of that metric, lol
