Well that'd be something alright

The problem with Thelwell leaving is that Hamlett will be in charge again...

well at least at Newcastle, they'd have an actual CAM/10.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

I tend to think Thelwell would be great if he had money at his disposal. The new Newcastle ownership group has money. I think it leaves us in the lurch, and is a big blow to the next 2-3 years, but you gotta think Thelwell takes the Newcastle job in in a heartbeat if offered, right? RB would probably be more secure, but making Newcastle great again has to be like a dream job.

Could you imagine if the reason Thelwell was here was to train Hamlett for a year or two and then he goes back to Europe. Maybe Marsch has more pull than we thought and had secured his friends spot for a while.
I based that on nothing and its most likely false but at this point nothing surprises me. Please no more Hamlett!

As one of maybe 3 Metro/Newcastle fans in the entire world, I'd think long and hard about if it's actually a better job.
Completely kidding, of course. Just a dig at Newcastle.

Don't let the door hit him on the way out.

As long as they send Almiron back our way, I'm good with this.

Red Bull let Hamlett run things for 2 years without adult supervision. Whether you like what Thelwell has done or not, letting Hamlett back in charge while they search for a replacement would be catastrophic.

He lost Kaku like an imbecile even WITH adult supervision. While he surely sucks as well, Thelwell is useless. No big loss. More puzzling is why someone would want him when he absolutely shit the bed here, but like I was saying before, MLS has a different structure than England. Could be just a rumor too.

If so, perhaps he has refreshed his appetite.
