Anyone recall what happened re: "Glaeser was expected to be a high pick at the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, but was not drafted by any team..."Who are these new names?
Matthew Glaeser - GK Ft. Lauderdale Strikers
Leobardo Alvarez - ??
Ray Yeboah - Ghanian defender, recently with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands?
What's Conde's status? Is he healthy enough to practice?

I'm with you, hard to see why they bother. Couldn't they have gotten something in a trade for all our suplementals before the draft? So none of our supplemental picks are even in this camp. What's the point?
I know the odds are very low for any of them to ever make a team in any meaningful way, but why jerk them around? At least give them a chance to train for a month or two as a professional or don't draft them in the first place.

Maybe they don't want to pay for the international trip, but will bring them to Arizona? We'll see.I'm with you, hard to see why they bother. Couldn't they have gotten something in a trade for all our suplementals before the draft?

So that posting by medhibluecheese on twitter about "heavy cardio workout...cleaned all the grease traps at RBA concession stands" was accurate then? All kidding aside there's definitely a contingent of players back in NJ.

Oh, great, they're saving money by avoiding three discount airfares to Mexico so they have enough money to purchase Stephen Ireland from Villa.Maybe they don't want to pay for the international trip, but will bring them to Arizona? We'll see.

I can picture it now, the 3 supplemental draftees are roasting marshmallows around the campfire in Montclair at night while Mehdi scares them with ghost stories about how to watch out when Henry or Rafa get peevish. So that posting by medhibluecheese on twitter about "heavy cardio workout...cleaned all the grease traps at RBA concession stands" was accurate then? I agree it's really puzzling. Did they even attend any training sessions? What's the harm in seeing what they have in training? They probably have a really small chance of making the roster but I don't see why we drafted them to not let them train.

I know Yeboah is a relatively common Ghanian surname, but does anyone know if he's related to Tony Yeboah (who is one of my all-time favorite players)? Tony Yeboah regularly scored the most ridiculous goals in the Premier League during the mid-90s....like this one:
One of the best goals you will ever see!

http://www.moderngha...play-in-us.htmlThe Ghanaian, who has also played for Eintracht Frankfurt and Leeds United, told Bild newspaper that he hoped to play in U.S. Major League soccer. The paper said his agent had already been in contact with the New York MetroStars. "It is still my desire to play in the United States," said Yeboah, 33. His contract with HSV expires at the end of this season.
