Did anyone see this from Brian Lewis

It’s been there since the Red Bulls’ 7-0 rout in May, when The Post learned several NYCFC players got in the face of Felipe, a Red Bulls player, in the tunnel and threatened him. Multiple Red Bulls told the Post that MLS called them to ask about the incident, with no fines resulting.

I think I read something about it on the MLS website too, in one of the prematch articles.

I's sure the third rail would call it a form of heroism.  After all they are standing up to evil.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

I bet they saw nothing wrong with this: https://www.washingt...on-who-you-ask/

At least they can sleep soundly knowing they have the moral high ground.

I mean, except for the fact their owners are members of a royal family, running a petrol state as an absolute monarchy with a longstanding track record of well-publicized human rights abuses, including maintaining flogging and stoning as punishments and torturing political dissidents.

But yeah, pure moral high ground.

reading the comments in that article I'm taken aback by the number of DC fans who think the other team's fans shouldn't be allowed to cheer for their team in their park, or to boo their players.  That and that its cool for an usher to ask a fan to sit down at a ballgame.  Is that the attitude in RFK?

According to MLS timeline, at 83 minutes, RB had had more fouls called against them (8-7).  A 5-1 difference after the 82nd minute led to a final difference of 3 in total fouls (12FC-9RB).  Considering the number of hacks in the final few minutes, totals appear about even for the first 82 minutes.

That's the real kicker about this whole situation, for all their whining about Marsch's comments, they really had no effect whatsoever on the game itself. The officiating crew called a great game, I haven't seen any evidence that the close offside calls weren't correct, and even if White's second yellow was soft that's what you get when your team clearly loses their cool.

The only actual effect Marsch had was getting NYCFC and its fans riled up.

I see a fight to the death between you and the unofficial legal counsel of those in the South Ward who have received bans in your future!

Wait til you speak to my attorney, Lionel Hutz...

And looks like he's winning the battle 2 yrs running.

History. But there's a lot of psychology used throughout history.
