The MetroStars were awful. The name MetroStars was awful. And the uniforms were meh. Im glad the club is trying to do small things to appreciate the history, but I dont need a ton of reminders of a team that was perpetually under .500 and no one attended the matches. If anything, this season will be a good way to honor the 25 years, were not going to be good and the stadium will be empty.

Perhaps if you had been around, prior to your RB internship, you might have enjoyed Metro.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

His name is "RB-NJ." calling him a newbie is overly generous. Most likely a NYCFC troll.

parking at Giant Stadium was AMAZING - roll up 15 kick off, get a beer and get front row seats.

(i love a dirt lot and all but getting out of there is a pain in the neck)

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Blah blah the usual hates Metro, loves NYFC stuff. Just an opinion. I will agree I loved the parking situation at giants stadium. Thats hard to beat. But all this bring back MetroStars life, not for me. It was tough to watch.

I for once have to agree with the OP. Metro was not a panacea and you could seriously say it was a bigger shit show than what we have with RB.

I understand people gave issues with the soda can company being the new owners and blah blah blah blah, but just thankful that it is not a tampon companys logo on our jerseys

1997-2002 home and away jerseys are better than the original 96 jersey and everything after 2002.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Nobody is saying we want Metrostars management here. It's about ambitious local ownership and an actual unique identity that doesn't scream SUBSIDIARY!

RED. BULL. OUT.

Driving and parking at RBA is an abortion. It legit makes me angry when I do.
