'Argentinians are not used to playing on fieldturf.' - say fans.

Too predictable. DC never loses games because they are outplayed.

Favorite excuses:
  • Referees
  • Playing surface
  • Altitude
  • Cheating opponents
  • Fixture congestion (i.e., "we got beat cos we're so damn good")
  • Game didn't matter anyhow

I know what you mean... it was nice reading the posts from the scum, knowing that they laid an egg over the weekend makes me smile even tho we did the same in Dallas.
When the stadium is full, yet the seats are empty??
When the crowd is in full voice, yet the score is nil-nil??
When the men play for keeps, and it's only a friendly??
When they play it like a cup final, and it's early April??
When America truly loves football, and it's no longer a dream...

Its one things losing 2-0 to Dallas, its totally another thing losing 4-0 to Real Salt Lake.

Columbus 1 - 0 DC 36'

Always a delight to see DC trailing. We suffer, but they suffer as well.

Fluke goal for the shit sucking scum to level the score, and then Moffat glides through their defense to set up an easy goal for 2-1.

Fred starts with the "dive! dive! dive!" tactic.

HA! DC can't keep a clean sheet this season...

They've given up two already tonight and it's not even half time yet.

Moreno with a brace for C'Bus, and they'd be up two if it wasn't for an awful deflection to see the ball past Hesmer.

Rogers and Moffat have looked good for Columbus.

That DC defense is awful.

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

He's a great midfield maestro, I'd like to see him in our shirt too. We haven't done all that bad with JPA tho...

ESPN's coverage sucks ass. JPD and Harkes are great, but they rarely have replays for goalscoring opportunities, and then the half-time report guy said that Tim Howard was out of position on Essien's goal (which he wasn't), and then it said "Notable EPL games next week" but they were showing the champions league schedule (3 of te 4 teams are english, but c'mon).

But yeah Schelotto looks good, and Emilio looks terribly sluggish out there.

DC changing things up, looking for more offensive options going forward.... I'm looking to see Columbus counter here and put this one to bed.
