1-1 fuck em both

Exactly!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Ends 1:1. We have now clinched at least 4th in the East, for all that's worth.

Are you sure? I think we can still fall to 5th:

1: We have 55 points with 6 games to go = 73 max
2: Atlanta 54 with 7 left = 75 max
3: NYCFC 49 with 5 left = 64 max
4: Crew 43 with 7 left = 64 max
5: Union 40 with 7 left = 61 max
Union play both the Crew and NYCFC, so teams will drop points but could technically still end up above us.

Impact 36 with 6 left = 54 max
Revs 33 with 7 left = 54 max
DC 31 with 8 left = 55 max (can't match our wins)
TFC 27 with 7 left = 48 max
Orlando 24 with 8 left = 48 max
Fire 24 with 7 left = 45 max

You're right. We can no longer finish lower than 5th.

As much as I hate the DC scum I felt that a win by them would be a big nail in blue pousers coffin.

In our next two games, we can pretty much end DC and Toronto's seasons.

Everybody was talking about what would happen when Marsch left, meanwhile the smurfs are now straight garbage. I love it.
Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I dont think the 1 point does much difference. They took 1 of a possible 6 points from these pair of home games. They buried their chances of the Shield and a first round bye with these results. They are more likely to drop to 4th than climb into the top 2. In the process, DC had their playoff chances greatly impacted by getting those 2 points stolen from them late. Win win for us with them drawing yesterday.

The Scum host Minnesota tonight. A win would put them 2 points out of the 6th spot with a game at hand.

All these rumors about Atlantas coach, Martino, being lured by the Argentina or Colombia National Team job must not be good for moral at Atlanta. Decision to be made in the next couple of weeks.

Useless.  Atlanta now 7 points away in the CCL table.
