Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

since the league owns all contracts, does this make it more or less illegal (contacting a player under contract)? i know in other leagues, such an action would likely draw a fine and some sanctions

Osorio got fined for mentioning in an interview that he wanted to trade for Cummings and Oduro. This, if true, is way, way worse.

Said on twitter it was a trade offer.

Paul McDonough was (is?) McCarty's agent up until the minute he took an executive role with Orlando. If this isn't a clear conflict of interest, I don't know if anything qualifies in MLS.

Always thought Dax should to end up at OCSC in some way. The opportunity to go to your hometown at their inaugural MLS season would be too much a draw.
But now that we have no back line, it would stink to lose a really good D-Mid, even after the somewhat inconsistent season he had in 2014.

I don't see RB letting him go.

Yeah, another couple years and they can have him.

He can go there and coach when he's done winning cups for us. That's it.

More likely they sent us a trade offer for Dax, not sent him a contract offer directly. League holds the contracts, there's no way/need to do that unless Dax has a contract that voids after 2 years at player option, which seems unlikely in MLS.

Allocation money ($225,000+) and draft picks offered.
That's a ridiculous low ball offer... though what do they really have to work with? How much funny money does the league give them? Anyway, thank you RB for not taking the offer.
