Stroud had a pretty good season last yr, but towards the end, injuries on RB2 might have affected his production.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Is Jared related to former NY Giant Jack Stroud? Seems possible. Similar first name. Although Jack died 2 years before Jared was born, their respective homes were close to each other in NJ. Jack played in the 50's and early 60's and was part of the great NY Giant football team of that era. NFL champs 1956. You can see him playing right offensive tackle in the "greatest game ever played". He is #66.

These type of signings are always great.

The team is run by cheapskates and idiots.

Both can be true at the same time.

So for those of us who don't watch the II's, whats the scouting report on them? The talk around them has seemed positive.

They'll both be depth options in the midfield and shouldn't be expected to contribute a ton this year. Think Bezecourt instead of Adams.

Stroud has been putting up excellent numbers in USL which is where the positivity has come from, but the gap between that and MLS is still so huge that its tough to predict how the transition will go.

Who feels worse for being a feeder team?  RB2 fans or RBNY fans?

I think you're joking but I almost wonder if USL fans exist who sit there thinking "what good are we if we're just a feeder club to MLS, our owners don't care about winning so long as our best players go to MLS!"

There were times last season where I was more looking forward to watching rb2 than the first team...
