I almost ordered my Gordo USMNT jersey last night. Wowzers.

I hope they don't get thrashed too badly..

Jot this down.

Mexico has peaked.

Just a hunch. From this point forward, their 'golden generation' will meet the same fate as the Figo Portuguese. Lots of hype and not much to show for it.

That said, we still could get thrashed.

ESPN's Jeff Carlisle Tweet:

Currently at #usmnt practice. Looks like we might see the Mo Edu at CB experiment again.

Ha!

Edu to CB was one of Bob Bradley's signature moves.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here....

This shit isn't going to work.

Klinsmann might as well call in Ricardo Clark while he's at it too.

There is a handful of decent center backs playing in MLS who provide better options than starting a defensive midfielder in central defense.

I understand it's a friendly and all, but is the plan for these guys to be humiliated for the sake of "experience"?

Not cool man, not cool...

Another game vs Mex; about as meaningless.... err, I mean important as the Olympic closing ceremony.

Mexico to honor Olympic team before the match

Since they're a youth side, I wonder if they'll get to walk out holding hands with the players.

I wonder, when JK called in Gordon, if he really meant to call in Steven Lenhart and got confused. I'd love to see Lenhart mix it up with the Mexicans.

That would be AWESOME. I don't think he would leave the stadium alive.

It would be like Gollum being killed in Mt. Doom.

No game against Mexico is meaningless.

This... for realz.

Who captain's this mug?

LD? Jermaine Jones? Howard?

Still irritated with the prospect of having Edu start at CB...

Our backline is going to be a mess tonight. I don't think we've had a solid back 4 since Gooch got hurt.

No game against Mexico is meaningless.

I corrected myself and wrote important.
Can't wait to get home and see this and the G's game.
I got a bet going with my buddy that Gordo scores.

Nothing I've seen tells me either team is going to score tonight. Yawn.
