Weve now lost our last 5 trips to Montreal, being shut out in all 5, with a combined score line of 11-0.
Good news is that we wont be facing them in the playoffs!
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Can we take something positive out of this game? Something?
Last time we lost a regular season finale, we made it to the MLS Cup.

:-)As bad (or indifferent) as we all feel after today, I thought about how awful the hysteria would be around here if we controlled our own destiny for home field and blew it because we couldnt crack the worst team in the league, at home, playing with 9 men, like DC did today. That gave me a little smile. Then I quickly reverted back to realizing how we could have capitalized on that and the smile faded.

Not a popular opinion, especially with people who haven't been through the Metro era with this team, but I'd rather make the Cup and lose it than not get there at all.And lost it.
At least, as a fan, there will be something to be excited for which happened only 3 times (1 MLS Cup, 2 USOC Finals).

Very reminiscent of our Colorado home loss. And not getting close to scoring on DC for 90 minutes last week.
But yeah, DC sucks too, especially without Rooney.

I did not know that Rooney was suspended, and wondered why he was at the GGG fight at MSG on Saturday night.
