Davis allegedly got looks from team in 2.Bundesliga.

But then he signed a nice long term deal with us.

Davis may be in that perfect sweet spot where hes very good, but just not good enough to go to Europe (as in a European league thats a clear step above MLS). He could be here for a very long time as a staple of our midfield.

The Dax of his generation.  And we can potentially have him for his entire career.

I feel this way about Aaron Long as well.

I would have said the same before this call-up simply cause I figured he'd keep flying under the radar, but now I feel like there's a chance he'll start to get some international attention. Especially considering he's actually still getting better.

If we had gotten Long earlier in his career I fully believe he'd have gone for a Miazga-esque transfer fee.

Agree, college and Seattle played him in the wrong positions. He would of been much better if he came through the red bull system.

actually he is a great example of us being able to identify players who did not work out at other clubs (2 if I recall) and work with them to succeed to MLS minutes and now USMNT.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Hope our guys do well but I'll be watching from home. Not wasting any money on exhibition games.

I bet they both start together vs Mexico.

Attendance wasn't good at all, I'm glad people decided to not waste their money on those ridiculous ticket prices.

32,500 announced. Saw about 15 ESCers at the rear of the USA supporters, which I guess was the Sammers section. AO filled the first 30 or so rows.
Crowd favored Brazil.

Was nice to see the Brazilians are still diving cheats who make a meal of things after that ridiculous penalty.
Let's Go Buffalo!!!
