I would suspect that RBNY just never lets anyone know they will accept offers only on Friday from 12noon to 2pm and RBL just happens to call then.

Not sure why they wouldn't? If teams knew how good Adams would be, they wouldn't offer 5M to at the very least bid up RBL?
