USA have qualified, and also won the qualifying tournament with a satisfying Dos-a-Cero victory over Mexico in the final!

Format needs 32 teams, with more slots for Europe & South America.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

USA stumbled out of the gate against Ukraine,
then won next two to finish 2nd in Group D.
Lads play France tomorrow @ 11:30 on FS2.

BTW, MEX went 0-3!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Allez USA! https://m.youtube.co...&feature=onebox
1/4s 6/8 v. Ecuador, who went 1-1-1 in Group B,
T-Japan, L<Italy, W>Mexico, then W>Uruguay in R16.
URU had won all three of its group matches.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

the ECU loss vs Italy was playing down a man and still looking more dangerous for large parts of the game.

ECU score a goal that looked clearly offside.
After VAR, goal stands.

And the US goes out

Didnt do nearly enough down a goal with Soto spurning their only real chance of the half

Theyd have made the finals too.
