I almost feel bad for Seattle fans.  Atlanta came into the league with better attendance, and even more pretentiousness.  Like what does Seattle even have left?

I mean they invented soccer so they got that going for them.

They have 1 MLS Cup, 1 Supporters Shield and 4 US Open Cups. Tied for 4th in trophies won amongst US-based MLS teams. DC's 1st, LA's 2nd, and SKC is 3rd with 7. Chicago have 6 as well.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig and Celenio Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello and Mike Vallo

Well theres the actual on-field success stuff, but Seattle fans never seem to use that when trying to pretend theyre the greatest team in soccer history.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.
