Fact is, they are an absolute model off of it as well and a way RedbBull never was and never will be.
Karma matters, doing the right thing by your fanbase matters. Local committed ownership (and they inserted themselves into the fabric of the city in a way no MLS team has done before or since with any consistency) matters.

Any call to bench Klimala for Barlow is insane. Be mad at Klimala for not scoring, fine, but you cannot possibly think Tom fuckin Barlow actually gives us a better chance to win any game. Barlow also sucks at scoring and Klimala at least does other shit well. Barlow is essentially a hockey goon out there.
I'm down for giving Fletcher a run but I'd prefer he start with Klimala.

If we finish, let's say, 3rd in the East and have a second-round playoff exit with good habits all around and a lack of finishing, I will say, "okay, that's a pretty good season. We made clear strides from the 2021 season. Now we need to add a striker who can get the ball in the net and push us over the top."
I will not say, "wow that fucking sucked fire everyone and blow up the roster."
The issue with this is that there is zero desire from our FO to spend the shekels to obtain said striker
And its obvious they wont
So yes, Im writing this season off. Their D is good enough to make the playoffs. Their O is bad enough to get eliminated without any doubt. And there is zero desire to improve from ownership
