They took this down, anyone saved this or can recreate in a post here?

No way there's re-seeding. The MLS wants people to be able to fill out their AUDI MLS Playoff Bracket #MLSPLAYOFFS #AUDISWEEPSTAKES for a chance to win a free trip to the final!!!! Its not about what makes sense. It's MLS. Its all about marketing and what makes the most money.

They still had those brackets this year and you just had to re-seed so who knows. We'll find out soon enough.

But this explicitly shows fixed seeding. It's not like the NFL format. It actually spells out a 3/6 vs 2/7 matchup.

I know it's all we have at the moment but I wouldn't panic because a leaked version of a bracket shows a semblance of fixed seeding (easily fixed with a disclaimer like this one http://printableteam...yoffbracket.gif).

I know it is MLS, and a stupid decision wouldn't be a surprise to any of us, but a no-reseeding bracket makes very little sense and has no upside. And remember that Garber said this as recently as last week:

"The idea here is to continually work on making the regular season more and more important so that winning in March is as important in winning in September or October. And our playoff format the one that were evaluating, and I think its really going to place a really, really high emphasis, strong emphasis on our regular season."

That calendar, if real, is leaps and bounds better than what they do now.

The only issue I would have is if the #1 seed plays on the 6th then has the break then the bye so you could next play on the 27th...

Assuming it goes;

Round 1 - 20
Conference semi 27
Conference final 3
Mls Final 10

But I could be wrong

With 6 first round games, and 4 second round,
I would hope to see half on Saturday, half Sunday.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
