Withouf Zizzo!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Good news is there is no Zizzo.

Probably would rather play a stronger team this game, and take it easy on Friday when we're on the road in Portland.  But I also have no problem going easier on our main guys for this game just to further the message to the team that the game against Cinci is everything.  Especially now that our streak is broken.  We are going to make playoffs, so make it all about Open Cup and MLS Cup.

That is what happens when you play a team with one guy who is really good.  Villa basically scored all three goals by himself.  Without him NYCFC is garbage.

Was close to posting the same thing...   Villa did that on his own.

No, the small field set up the 1st and Zizzo the 3rd, but all credit to the quality of Villa to take advantage. He was often on the edge of being offsides because he has learned how easy counters can happen on that pinball style field. A huge advantage for a smart and skilled player. Their home field record overstates their prowess.

what is UP with Collin?

I don't want him playing in this game but want him available for USOC.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

No idea what's up with Collin but he was at YS yesterday walking around the concourse with his son (i think) where the metro fans were, was going to ask him his status but didn't want to be that guy. I'm afraid he is done for the season considering being  week to week for a while while not even dressing up, we're not being told something and it is not good news.

Marsch has been optimistic after the last couple of practices.  THe videos are on the website.  He called Collin and Lade day to day before this last game.

Not ideal to thrown him into a game after a month+ off. Minutes vs Orlando, then a start vs Cinci; otherwise, just have him on the bench.
