I really don't like Reyes. He's a ticking time bomb. The type of defender that's a red card with legs.
There are only so many defenders capable of making Sean Nealis look competent.

I think Vanzeir has to start going forward. He did almost nothing in the ~20 minutes he got this game. He needs more time with the starters.
They just punt the ball upfield all 2nd half. You could have Jesus himself up there and it would not matter. There isnt an attempt to connect passes and bring him into play.

102 completed passes the entire match for RBNY. Got a gift goal and tried to see out a 1-0 win. Dickless soccer.

Dont see how Barlow isnt starting, unfortunately. Strubers system relies on a big guy who can compete for aerial duels.
Maybe you get Elias-Vanzeir, but more likely Barlow gets at least a half of ineffective play.

Misplaced concerns, increasingly feeling that his best chances will come as a result of Burkes holdup play.
Neither of Morgan/Luquinhas are likely to be creating consistent chances for him, not their game.
Not exactly confident that Strubers system has evolved enough to put him in the best position for success, but I will wait to see him start a few matches.

Judging a guy on a short cameo after not playing for a month is a bit harsh. Lets wait a bit, unlike some of our other signings there is a track record of success in a decent league.

Apparently only home radio is available right now, which makes no sense.I couldn't find a way to switch to RBNY radio as promised, the only other available option was Orlando's Spanish(?) radio.
The color commentator, Jamie Watson former OC player, was clearly biased towards Orlando which should be a no go for what is supposed to be a national broadcast.

Hope this goes better than Monzon, pointless if hes going to be buried behind a non CB in DNealis.

I dont think Id waste preseason minutes that would be better served given to Nocita. Try it out with the 2s. The big concern would be Barlow is bad with the ball at his feet. S. Nealis is bad too though and hes found a way. Crazier things have happened.
Its still why I believe its a waste to play Reyes on the left and Nealis on the right side of central defense.
Regardless of side Nealis is not capable of distributing, hes still going to punt the ball forward aimlessly. Putting Reyes on the left puts the better passer in a less natural position.

Nothing wrong with that, especially if JT scores the final goal when we win an MLS Cup.
Guess we are winning this season, hes gone by next winter at the latest.

Duncan, Manoel both here at end of last season. Reid, Ofori, Stroud HG signings.
Struber alluded to looking at the transfer market for a CB (possibly a veteran type) on Fishkins interview with him for the last Seeing Red.
Im going to hope they have a DP attacking signing in them if its not Vanzeir.
