All matches at RBA ... behind closed doors:

I am a little surprised that they were not one of the clubs that opted out and I also give the club credit for hosting all home games at RBA, rather than MSU. Its obviously more expensive, but it is safer.

Now, back to RB bashing.

No. I would love us to buy SA 1st Division players.
If you wanted us to scout the 2nd & 3rd divisions,
I would have questioned that, then or now.

In fairness, 2nd & 3rd divisions of (insert SA league of your choice) are not equivalent to 2nd & 3rd divisions of English football.

That being said, I'm not entirely excited at the prospect of scouring the 2nd & 3rd divisions of England for bargains, either, if that is what they're going to be doing.

Hmm Barlow, Sean Davis and Alex Muyl.

Henry, Cahill, Marquez (bum).

You take the pick?

Individual examples can be listed all day and it still does not prove a point. There are examples of great players and poor players on both sides of the spectrum. There needs to be a balance of both, its not a one or the other strategy. The club needs to invest in DPs (which they no longer do) and create a rich pipeline of homegrown talent (remains to be seen).

Im not basing on his NY sampling, Im basing that on his entire pro career. Look it up if you havent already.

He does not score goals. Good riddance.

Bring on the next underwhelming international.

Saying "he couldn't even beat out Valot" is not only very specific to his brief NY career, it's specific to the 2 games this season. I'm not shedding any tears over his departure, but that's not a reasonable statement. We have no idea what his role would have been if the season took place as normal.

I'm well aware of his career numbers. I'm not trying to say we've suffered some backbreaking loss.

They have a healthy Luis Robles. We have seen him win us matches we have no business to be in since 2013.

True, but I doubt 538 is handicapping goalkeepers that heavily. Their projections will be moved by field players.
