Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Probably signed to the first team bc the half assed pursuit of whatever player they had on their radar didnt pan out.Signed to the first team:

Meanwhile DC just brought a proven MLS goal scorer back to the league and LAG are poised to add a highly regarded player on their roster from Boca Jrs.
Smart move though. Theyre going to need the money theyre saving to tarp off lower level sections too

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. I want to hope for the best and just think that it's a straight-up swap for Epps on the supplemental roster: clearly we need a right back more than another winger. Two senior slots are still open...
Oh, who am I kidding.

So is Lade's time officially done? Behind Duncan, Tarek, and now signing Buckmaster too.

I think there are restrictions on who we can sign on a supplemental roster spot, limited to RB2 guys essentially.
A little comforted that we signed a defender and not another attacking player like Stroud to that spot, hopefully that means we are looking at other additions from outside the org.
Im not holding my breath

Lade is literally the worst field player in MLS. Hes unplayable as a full back.
When he tore his knee up, he never fully recovered and lost quickness and acceleration.
Shame because I always liked him and root for him hard.

We dont need guys from RB2 right now. We need guys that can start games tomorrow at outside back, d mid, and attacking mid. Guys that can change games.

Yea. He was never really that quick to begin with. When i first looked at him i assumed he was a little rocket but it wasnt the case.
Youre right, he lost a step and now hes totally unplayable at this level. At this point the club should offer him a job working with the youth teams.
