It was already meh, they made it worse with those lines.

Maybe it will grow on me, but my first impression is its dumb.

All the more so since the team we will be playing game one of the season will be wearing Metro jerseys.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

I would say that the lines do have a Metro feel to it, except that they are not up and down.

Does purple scarf at the draft mean purple away kit, maybe?

I thought it was just his tie that was purple.

They only swap one jersey per year. Each year they alternate between home and away. Thus, this cruddy home top will be what is worn for this year and next.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

What if they made the lines red and black? Would have been a nice ode to team history but who am I kidding.

Nope, don't see any black.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

The marketing campaign will not be well received in these parts, methinks. http://www.newyorkre...ngthspeedmetro/
