It would appear our man goes by the name Amir instead. And that we've got him.

From what I've seen (in videos) he virtually fits the system that this team has. After talking with some folks that have actually seen him play up close, I'm told that he's not scared of flying up the pitch to help spark the offense. He's got some pace to boot (kid can fly), can deliver a good, if not decent cross in the box now and then. Not a household or box-office name, but he's going to be fun to watch, that's for sure.

Bottom line: Once he's gets going, I think we're going to love this guy.

Ora e per sempre. Forza Metro!!!

By the looks of the videos, he could fill in at CB as well.

And he's young as hell!

Murillo, yeah, he's played twice for RB2. approx 70 mins in total. had one good cross against OCity B at MSU last wk.

I thought this guy was supposed to come in and compete for the starting RB job. He hasn't seen a minute of first team action. Is he hurt? Too young? Not good enough?

The one game I watched with RB 2 and he blew... Not awful with the ball and his passing but he was bad defensively.  Poor angles taken constantly along with poor decisions...

I was really disappointed and wanted to like him but I wouldn't trust him with the first team yet.  Perhaps he just needs to settle in.

I'm never one to defend many front office decisions, but the kid is young and adjusting to a much higher level of play.  That's not his fault.  He himself may be someone for the future.

But for today we've got some issues in the back that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.  4-2-3-1 helps, but we're one injury away from a pretty scary situation in defense.

Which was the reason, I believe, for going for Murillo. Major disappointment if RedBull went with a long-term project instead of addressing immediate needs. They should double and triple checked his scouting before committing to a long-term project. That is what our Academy is for. We should not waste resources on grooming foreign talent.
