O.K., so are all of you daisies done complaining about the police? Thanks...

So, after I put the wife and kids in the car and retieved my badge, I approached one of the L.A. County Police cars and spoke to the officers...of course they were cool and just wanted to know what the gathering was for. I explained and they understood, so they let me look at their in-car computer, so I could see how the call came up on their screens.

The bike jousting apparently triggered calls from the neighbors behind the park...on the computer it read 415G (= Disturbance-Gang Activity)...Victoria Park...50+persons...alcohol being consumed...

So, they requested assistance from Carson deputies and rolled hard with multiple units only because of the size of the gathering. Until they arrived at the park, they didn't know what they had on their hands. Ask yourself how you would respond to that call...Would you be willing to take any chances in Carson on a Sunday night?

It didn't turn into McArthur Park, so it's all good...

Excellent. Great insight, Brigade. Makes a lot more sense when you put it that way.

So does ESC have a few token Asians too?

3, as far as I know. And thanx for a great evening. No better way to lose a Cup Final then with the afterparty.

I had asked a LARS member, maybe it was ESCO or ZeroCool whether or not Filipinos were into the Galaxy/soccer in general. I don't recall the answer due to partying pretty hard after the match. How about other Asians?

Ha! We beat ESC by 1! Actually there's another guy but I forget his name & ethnicity. And Dude Love's wife is Flip I believe. Other than them, I don't know of any other.

Buck...nevermind.
"Last month I was in the Canary Islands, and I met up with Armada Sur, the supporters group for CD Tenerife. When the subject of MLS comes up one of the first things they ask me about is if I've heard of the Riot Squad and they mention that one of them has a LARS shirt, and describes the gask mask guy logo.

Halfway around the world and I can't get away from you guys?!?!"

What?! I've actually lived in Asia, speak an Asian language, work for an Asian company and live in an Asian household.

What does everyone use chopsticks for?

To dip your sushi in soy sauce.

shooter doing the color commentary was hilarious. i remember that jouster being at the chicago supporters match last year. that drunk of the week scarf is awesome. if we start one shooters face should automatically be printed on there.

Yeah, that was me.  I turned my ankle in that Chicago game--my fat ass shouldn't have been trying to play anyway.  What is it with me and the LARS?  You people are insane. ;)

That party was probably the best part of the weekend that wasn't the game.  Nice job, guys, despite the unexpected visit from the locals.
