Side note: But has anyone noticed the soft rebrand on the part of the team's social media channels? They have changed from New York Red Bulls to Red Bull New York. Has this change been addressed anywhere?

Stu Holden posted something a couple weeks ago with #NYRB.

Vazzano corrected him then Holden corrected himself on the air. Saw some changes come after that back to Red Bull New York.

I remember when we rebranded, the organization was Red Bull New York but the team was New York Red Bulls. Apparently it's as confusing as always.

How about renaming team as Red Bull Metro New York? RBMNY as catchy as NYCFC?

RBL. RBS. RBNY.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Jean Philippe Peguero or Peguero Jean Philippe?

"I'm sure we won't hear much from [Philly] because of the quality of our fans, of how loud and how boisterous they are," Petke said. "They're probably going to drown them out. But I welcome it. I love it..."

The score up in the corner of the screen on MSG had us as RBNY...I kept second guessing myself if thats what it always said, or if we used to be NY

Worth noting that Red Bull GmbH did trademark this image last November. Far as I know, they have not used it for anything this year. Why they did so is anyone's guess.

I hope the colors match next yr's away kit, with vertical black and white stripes.

Proactive against cyber-squatting?

I mean, it has the two red bulls in it, which is clearly their mark. Not exactly something you can squat on. And it costs money to file one of these trademark applications. A company—even one with limitless resources like Red Bull—wouldn't just do them for the fuck of it.

Actually not bulls at all.

Not exactly something you can squat on.

Like that never happens.

it costs money to file ... trademark applications.

Probably a lot more to litigate over them.
