I am questioning his (and yours, I guess) acceptance of getting fucked over. "Hey that's the way it is, what can we do?" It's defeatist, especially when it's unjustified.

I understand completely that ticket prices go up. What I don't accept is that there is a reason for a price difference in the same section, or between league games. It's wrong.

Just wait for next year, when the sections that didn't go up this year get hit with their increase. Then Chris Heck can say "well, half the stadium didn't go up or change", even though they went up the year before. They are spinning everything to fuck you over.

RB doesn't hand out money freely? I'm pretty sure when they are sponsoring soap box derbies that they do. Do you think it's possible that a company with so much money to throw around might make bad business decisions? Or am I just hating?

Just because I hate Red Bull doesn't mean I'm wrong.

unjustified¿ the operating cost of this team far surpasses the money they make back from games, television rights, merchandise, etc.

why shouldn't first row seats cost more than 12th row seats in same section¿ because they are closer. when you go to a concert or any other sporting event it is the same deal.

your hate for red bull makes you totally biased and in your mind everything related to them is automatically anti-RB, whether you are right or wrong.
i'm not a RB guy, i believe in the concept of NY96, but i'm not gonna hate on everything they do because of the name. Because God knows that if the name of the team was MEtro or Empire and they were doing this same exact thing, people like you would not be hating and saying that they are going to stop supporting. ugh please just leave and go on with your life. why do you like to hang around something you dislike so much¿ go find a forum on beer or something that you can go have opinions on.

Really? You think MLS is such a terrible investment...I guess those dozen or so billionaries who are MLS owners need your insight to save them from a terrible investment decision.

Because those seats are currently occupied by the only fans that have been with this franchise for ages, the longest and most loyal STH's. They are now being asked to move their seats or pay a premium, which eventually will become a PSL. You stand up now to this shit to stave off the progressive assaults on your wallet. Once you give in they will keep pushing the limits.

People here used to complain about bullshit Metro officials were doing to, its not germane to Red Bull. That said, I always find it a bit curious that someone and an SG more broadly that claims to be so Ultra is always going out of their way to defend something that is really an afront to what most every actual ultra in the world would reject.

Nicky G, can you actually read my messages? I think you are missing the point. RB is changing the pricing schedule they released 3 years ago. They are jacking my prices up from $535/seat to $720/seat in one year. That's insane. The discussion isn't about whether or not tiered pricing schedules are fair, it's about an unpredictability in policy.

Now you could say RB figured they would lose a few season tickets holders, but make out in the end. That's fine. That's an argument. You're just blowing air. The issue isn't qualitative (everyone expects better seats to cost more) it's quantitative (35% price bump in a single year).

Again, this isn't about Red Bull hate. If you think the price increase or division of sections is justified, go ahead and pay it. Like a seal.

You are going to have to post things more substantial than kittens and puppies if you expect anyone to take you seriously. You seem incapable of reducing your thoughts to anything more focused than irrelevant and to be honest, not even remotely funny images or one liners.

I suppose its easier for you to reduce this discussion down to just hating red bull because it saves you from actually having to try and come up with anything remotely intelligent to add to the discussion.

Yes, because my desperate hope in life is to be taken seriously on this board. Law school? pfft. Success in relationships and freindships? Ha. No, to be taken seriously by onionsack and the rest of the people on Metrofanatic is my life goal.

And yes, when certain people post, no matter what the topic is, it always boils down to Red Bull hate. If you can't see that, then I don't know what to say.

So, how does this have any relation to my argument? Discuss the message, not the message bringer or message supporters.

I am pissed at RB right now. My points are valid and specific. If you have a counter argument, make it.

By the way, that's an adorable little puppy. Thank you for that.

Sorry, it's not you. Your argument is fine. It's the circle jerk that some people have when something like this happens. I have no problem with your point.

In other words you don't have a point to make. Thanks for clearing that up.

If that's how you choose to interpret it, then go for it. You have to be the most level-headed and even poster here. You never show bias and consistently hit every point correctly. Books are written about your fairness.

There is no difference between opinion and bias.

If you have arrived at a conclusion based on evidence, you are now biased. Especially if you notice more evidence that further supports your conclusion, and point it out. Your interpretation of the evidence is to be disregarded, on account of your bias.

I love this concept and now intend to apply it to all discussion. The next time my doctor tells me to cut back on my drinking, I'm going to roll my eyes and tell her she's biased because she hates liver disease. She can't think objectively!
