I think you have that backwards.  TAM comes from the league; use it or lose it.   DP wages above the salary cap hit come out of the the teams pocket.

TAM once you spend above $1.2mm comes out of the teams pocket.  the $2.8mm of discretionary team is owner funded for their team.  we are spending somewhere between $1.8mm and $2.1mm above the $1.2mm allocation since we have 5 TAM players now. and gave some away in Tim Parker trade.

"MLS clubs also will have the flexibility to spend up to an additional $2.8 million of TAM, on a discretionary basis funded by the team, per year in both 2018 and 2019, which will further enhance the quality of play across the league."

Kaku focuing on play rather than past transfer drama.  It was negotiations, he wanted the transfer but is here, committed and aware that best way to a step up is to be successful.  Armas and team aware but support him and he is quality.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
