Pretty cool little document by the MLS. Funny he has all of his awards in the box in his closet still.

Congrats on a great run, Luis!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Funny how Meara in 2012 started his rookie season strong and then got hurt, Gaudette was signed days after and started a few games, then we signed Robles, his first start is a month later in a win vs Toronto where Henry debuted the red and black captains armband (http://metrofanatic....ory.jsp?ID=6069) and Luis has started every game since. Now almost 6 years later Meara gets to start in a league game..

I remember seeing that NE thug injure Meara and thinking it was a real shame for the team. We came out alright but its hard to believe its been six years and Meara is still a backup, given how good he seemed to be.

I just happened to catch Robles on Fox 5s Sports Extra in NYC. He said he is week to week but thinks it could be a few weeks before he returns. He was a bit vague describing the actual injury and what the doctors saw on the MRI, but did say the knee is structurally sound.

Well with that info Id say worst case scenario is we dont see him for another month. Im fine with that as long as hes 110% upon return.

Yeah I don't mind Meara for the next couple of games. Then we get Robles back after the mini WC break

We are more equipped to deal with an injury to our starting GK than anyone in this league. Happy to see Meara get a few league games.

Can someone post this article once it's found online? Apparently, Tina revealed in the interview that RBA will have a monument unveiled in honor of Robles.

RB announced they will have something permanent placed on one of the arena's North Side red beams they have been using to commemorate significant moments in RB history.

He is pretty good. Wish his distribution was better, but that's my only real complaint with Meara.
