Atlanta United looked very Metro in many ways.

We went into a really tough environment and gutted out a win. It was ugly but the points are the most important thing.
This team was exposed throughout this game. There are a lot of things that need to be worked on.
Robles MOTM. Going forward Grella needs to start on the left with Royer on the right.
Onto Colorado.

Holy crap we don't deserve this. They're gonna spin this as a success but really the score line covers up just how terrible we are.

We need a DP that starts. That's not going to be Veron so move him and sign someone in the summer. Grella needs to come off the bench, but like he did tonight, somewhere between 60' & 75', not Marsch's normal 88' sub.

Did we switch formation when Etienne came on? If we did...the 4-2-2-2 needs to be put to pasture.

Looked soft to me. Don't know how it felt being the player. That's all I can say.
He shouldn't even be walking in Felipe's direction. I don't care how soft the kick was.

One great back heel and everyone forgets the playoffs the last two years.

^This. Play like this in a knockout game and we lose.

See what happens when you make tactical subs before the 80th minute Jesse? Game changed once Grella and Etienne came on.

Since when was walking a red card? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. The replay looked like he barely even touched him! Yeah he shouldn't be anywhere near him but players walk over to opposition players when they're in the ground all the time!

I agree. I cant believe the lack of creativity, composure, and dribbling ability from our players. They just kept passing the ball like crazy and not in a good way. Alot of basic inacurate passing that resulted in ugly play. There was no attempt at drawing defenses and running into space. And as soon as you saw a player take charge (Royer) we scored. He put on that spin move to get away from the defense and changed the sides for GRella to put that sweet back heel to Lawrence. We need more of that. We need more creativity and more confidence, not shitty one touch passing that leads to someone not being able to trap the ball. While I like that play from the players, I think another high quality player is needed these guys are just good role players without a star.

You step on the guy you get a red, no matter how light the touch is.

Did he really step on him though? The replay looks to me like it's a 50/50 call and I have the benefit of replay. I just don't see how Geiger could view that as a straight red. I just don't.

Geiger was standing right there! So he probably had a better view than you on replay in this case.
