Toronto doesn't have the youth system that we have so they're happy to get veteran players from where ever. Lawrence might be considered a RedBull reject by the RedBull organization now a days.
As a fan base, we deserveve more, but we love to swallow our pride for the love of stadium and the fact that we at least have a team to root for.........Lets go RedBulls.

Is there room for another DP on the TFC roster?
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Not too long a stint over there? Too bad it didn't work out for him. But welcome back to MLS.

OK. Will he be getting a raise?
Anderlecht salary was 468,000 Euros.
That was $514,000 when he signed,
but is currently $562,000.
MLS max for 2021 is $612,500.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Income tax on someone making that kind of money is much higher in Belgium, I would imagine.

Steep, but not much higher than Ontario.Income tax ... is much higher in Belgium
Top rate 50% https://taxsummaries...personal-income
Plus, Value Added Tax (similar to Sales Tax) is 21%.
Canada: https://turbotax.int...-calculator.jsp
33% + 13% Ontario is 46%. Sales tax 13%.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Strange move for Kemar. Seemed he was desperate to head over to Europe and seemed he was doing well with Anderlecht. And then he decides to come back here and be coached by Chris Armas again.

He was not doing well at Anderlecht. He had some sort of disciplinary issue or misunderstanding with the coach there.

My understanding from someone who would know is that this kind of thing was a problem with RBNY as well. The one underreported talent that Jesse has is his ability to get players to buy in as professionals and get their shit together. I believe the strong leadership core with Sacha, BWP, Luis, etc. also was key. Once Jesse left and Kemar got older, it was harder to keep him in line.
